Growing Your Spiritual Life and Increasing Your Life of Worship
Worship is a privilege for the children of God. Hebrews 10:25 encourages us not to miss our meetings together. We are not just meeting for meeting's sake. Friday Service is a celebration of what has been happening in individual lives all week long. When we are together in the presence of God, we are changed together. Jesus says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Seek first the kingdom of God by not allowing anything or anyone to hinder you from meeting with the church. Your challenge is not to miss a week of Friday Service during this 90 Days Challenge. You will be truly transformed as you relate to the corporate Body of Christ.
God desires us to have intimacy, relationship and daily communion with Him. We grow in our intimacy with God as we get to know Him deeper through His Word. Your challenge is to spend time in God's Word every day for 90 days. When we learn to love the Word of God it becomes easy to obey it. God's Word causes us to mature in our spiritual life like newborn babies crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation." (1 Peter 2:2)Read Now
Experience the Gospel
New Testament Bible Reading
The power of the Gospel does not come through words alone. Explaining it does not give you the experience. The journey of strengthening your relationship with God will increase your faith and you will grow in the Lord by experiencing His Word every day of your life. "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." (Romans 10:17) As we read the Bible, it is important that we understand it with our minds and experience it with our hearts. Your challenge is to engage everyday in Bible ready for 90 days.Read Now
Engaging in the Community Life
Once you are connected to Christ and to the corporate body of the church, you also need to connect to a cell group. You need a community, a small group to belong to and grow. It will help you to be intimately connected to the church at large. A cell group is full of life and is a place where people share their faith, vision, and testimonies. It is where comfort is found in the midst of trials and pain. It is where fellowship happens among believers in the House of God, and where souls are saved as newcomers accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
Regularly Attend a Cell Group
"Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah." (Acts 5:42) Christianity was never intended to be lived alone. A Christian life finds the most fulfilling and wonderful expression when people live, act, and work in community as friends, brothers, and sisters. We learn from one another and encourage each other's maturity. Cell groups serve a combined role of friendship building, mutual support, training, and discipleship. Therefore, a new believer must be present in cell group once a week. Your challenge is to attend cell group every week during the 90 Days Challenge.
Sharing Greater and Better
Developing Stewardship and Generosity
We were created to be a blessing. Therefore, God gives us the ability to produce wealth, to bless other people, and to advance His kingdom. Now is the time for you to learn the importance of stewardship and having the heart of a giver. God owns everything because He created everything Stewardship is a basic principle we all need to learn. We should remember that we are stewards and managers, and not owners of our possessions. If we prove to be trustworthy stewards of our finances and possessions, God can entrust us with greater things, Luke 16:10 says, "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?"
Financial Management Class
We believe this class would be very beneficial because without truly understanding a Godly view of how finances work, we are at a huge disadvantage. We encourage you to take charge of your own personal finances by attending this powerful and life-changing class, that's sure to empower you financially. We will be teaching on subjects like how to improve credit and eliminate debt, the importance of establishing a budget to reach your goals and the power way to plan your finance.
Tithes and Offering
As stewards of God's blessings, we are commanded to give 10% of our income to the church we attend. "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house." (Malachi 3:10) The more we give, the more we will receive. As we give our tithes and offering faithfully to the Lord. Proverbs 3:10promises us that lack will not be part of our lives. Always remember that you cannot out give God. your challenge is to give your tithes and offering every Sunday to the church where you are growing and in your cell group meetings.
Outreach Life: Going Wider
Fulfilling the Great Commission
The Great Commision commands us, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20) Every servant of God must complete this task. The very essence of Christianity is to have the passion of Christ and compassion for the lost. God wants to send us to different places to reach people who still do not have Him in their lives. We have to be prepared to accomplish this.
Leadership Training / Conference
"He (Jesus) said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" (Mark 16:15) We have a mission to fulfill, and now is the time to prepare and to reach lost souls for Jesus. Through trainings, we will refresh our perspective of reaching the world with the gospel. It does not matter if you are a mature believer or young in your faith; what matters is that you are called by God to do good works for Him. Your challenge is to attend at least one church conference. It can be the Campus Revolution, Regional Conference, National Conference, Youth Camp, CrossOver Camp, and other conferences.
Attend the Pre-Encounter and Encounter
When you meet the challenge of attending your cell group regularly for the first month of the 90 Days Challenge, you can level up higher in the next two months. receive fire, freedom, and focus as you encounter God and receive His promises and vision for your life. Be prepared to experience the full benefit of the Encounter by first attending the Pre-Encounter Party Your challenge is to attend the Pre-Encounter Party and an Encounter weekend during the 90 Days Challenge.
Invite to Church
We invite people to church that they may hear the message of salvation and receive Jesus. Below are a few tips that will help you invite a friend / family member to church this Friday. • Be Purposeful - Invitations are most meaningful and most accepted within a relationship. That's why we stress, invest, and invite! • Be Specific - It usually works if you say, "Come to church with me this Friday at 7:30am. I'll meet you at the lobby and we can grab an early lunch afterwards. How does that sound?" • Be Excited - Nothing convinces like excitement. When you're excited about your church, others will want to come with you. • Be an Expert - You don't have to know everything about your church, but you should know the most important details like services schedule, upcoming events, ministries information, etc. • Be Authentic - Inviting someone to church is not about fulfilling a spiritual duty or increasing church attendance. It's about sharing Jesus with people whom you know and love. Share with them the impact your church and your relationship with Jesus have had in your life. • Be Present - It's hard to invite a friend to church on Friday if you do not atend church on Sunday. Prioritizing you own attendance will make it easier to invite others to attend. • Be Persistent - Keep on inviting people. Don't give up when they say no or cancel at the last minute. Just go back to the top of the list and start all over again. In the end, your friends will thank you for it. Your challenge is to invite at least 5 people to the church services.
1. Start by writing down the details of how you came to believe and trust in Christ. The following questions will help you:
• What was going on in my life before I chose to believe in Christ?
• Who told me about Christ?
• How did I choose to believe in Christ?
• How has my faith in Christ been a blessing to me?
2. Next, write this out so that it flows well as a story. Try to be as concise as possible. As a goal, limit the length of your testimony so that it can be effectively shared within three minutes or less.
3. Make sure you have included the appropriate scriptures in your testimony. Remember, when you speak about God’s Word, it gives you authority. As an example, your testimony should consist of:
• You becoming aware that you were separated from God by your sin (Romans 3:23)
• The realization that you would spend eternity away from God if you did not receive forgiveness. (Romans 6:23);
• The understanding that God sent His only Son, Jesus, to die and pray for your sin (Romans 5:8);
• You receiving forgiveness by trusting Christ’s payment for sin alone (Acts 16:31).
